The Wallace was made out of necessity, specifically with small volunteer fire departments in mind. This tool is a force multiplier, reducing the weight of tools and increasing firefighter’s efficiency on the fire ground.
It combines the adze, sledgehammer, and axe which perform most functions of other firefighter hands tools, including breaching doors, driving in wedges and tools, venting windows, tearing down walls and ceilings, venting roofs, etc.
Initial Testing
During our initial testing, the first prototype was able to breach inward and outward swinging doors with a wedge, with other tools, or without any other tools.
